Mikey and I sat down this morning and actually drafted a set of rules after spending 20 minutes arguing about who's turn it was to be online first this morning. I'm willing to bet that the rules don't count the first time they go against Mikey when he thinks he should be online. All is not lost, however, since my computer is free and I have a html editor with a template of my diary. I should use it all the time because it features a spell check and Lord knows I need that.
I checked my email this morning and I had mail. This is going to sound kinda egotistical, but for lack of a better term I'm going to call it fan mail. It was really awesome to find out that someone actually reads this crap other than my friends. I think that they probably read to see if they get mentioned. I would. You probably think I'm exaggerating when I talk about what a hit slut I am and how much I love people reading about my deepest secrets, but you'd be so wrong. I love talking about myself and my day to day trials and triumphs. I love writing period and a journal is great because it's not wildly time consuming. In fact, I often have 2 or 3 entries written that I haven't posted to the entry list page or linked to the diary's main page because that would be too much work. Just a fyi... if you visit my diary and the entry is from a day or two before, try the future link. There's a good chance that the current entry is there.
I finally found the cord that connects my digital camera to my computer so I was able to upload the photos of Dare eating his feet that I promised a few days ago. I'm going to post it and a couple other pictures here. I'm not sure what all will be on there quite yet. A couple of Dare and maybe one of the boys' older pictures from about 3 months ago. Just depends on what I find.
I made my own background. I scanned a charm that I got as a bridesmaid gift from Kelly and Jimmy's wedding. It's the Libra scales, my horoscope sign. It looks kinda neat. I even made an image for my main page. I don't know if I'll like the look a week from now, but I'm gong to change the whole diary anyway and I'll end up keeping it because I'm too lazy to keep redoing everything. Besides, anything beats how boring it looks right now. The hardest part for me is finding a text that doesn't cause eyestrain. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know since color coordination is not a skill I possess.
Due to an unforseen circumstance the pages I changed aren't showing up as such so I'm going to let them be for the time being. Mostly because I'll throw the computer through the window if I try to mess with it now.
