I had no idea how lazy I was going to feel during the weekend. I was online almost as much as before AT, but I just didn't feel like updating my journal. I've gotten involved in several projects and that's what's been eating up my time.
Here's the quick run down...
*Dolls- I have begun to set up a page to showcase my cartoon dolls that I spent 3 or so obsessive days making. Not too much progress with it, but I do really like the site layout that I picked up from Elated.
*Quilt Patches- This is something new that I encountered and it's drawn me in. I made a few patches and a simple page to put them on and now I'm rarin' to go. It's got a clean layout, but outside of my own patches, there isn't too much happening here either.
*Blog- This is my new baby. I fell in love with the concept of having a page that I could put a little of everything on. The side bar is so much longer than the entries, but fear not. I am so longwinded that it won't take long to catch up. The design is awesome, I picked up a set, but the exact URL eludes me. Just go check it out, you'll see what I mean. The blog itself is powered by Blogger which is an interesting change from Xanga where I've been writing for the past few months.
That sums up all my projects for the past few days. Pretty boring, but I really enjoy it. I wish I could get a job doing web design. Man, that would be cool. Of course, I lean very heavily towards girly stuff. I can't imagine that a business would want to be decorated in pink kitty cats or fuzzy teddy bears.
Today was Mikey's 21st birthday. We didn't do anything to celebrate. I think we might do something on the 30th which is our anniversary. Can you imagine that it's already been a year? I really didn't figure we'd last this long after all the problems we had starting out. As time goes by things are getting easier between us. Maybe we have finally figured out the secret to ignoring each other properly. That's a sad thought, but I sort of suspect it may be true.
